Feeling creative and social? Create your own event with proceeds supporting the Alzheimer Society Peel. It is a great way to bring together family and friends for a fun day or evening in support of a great cause.

The Forget Me Not Gala is an elegant and intimate affair with a seated dinner, martini bar, silent and live auctions, and unique musical performances. The gala has grown from the early days of development to hosting a little over 100 guests, to now having over 250 attendees and being an admired event within the Peel community. All funds raised at this event are used to support the programs and services that are offered by the Alzheimer Society Peel.

Soft and cuddly teddy bears have been an essential toy in many children’s lives, and due to mass production this childhood icon has become easily replaceable. The generic bear is designed and made by Russ Toys; however, with the help of many volunteer knitters, each Forget Me Not Teddy Bear has been given a unique identity. Each year a new bear is chosen as the Forget Me Not Teddy Bear. Due to the diversity of volunteers, and reflecting the multiplicity of the society, each bear’s outfit is different and no bears are the same. These teddy bears are used as a fundraiser to support the Alzheimer Society Peel’s programs and services. This year the collectable Forget Me Not Teddy Bears mark their 14th Anniversary!

The 4^th annual Origin Great Memories Golf Classic was a success! Over $45,000 was raised through green fees, silent and live auction and sponsorships. Alzheimer Society Peel would like to thank all of our sponsors, donors and golfers for their support.

Scramble on down for a day on the greens! The Origin Great Memories Golf Classic is now celebrating its fourth successful year! Conceived by the Davis family, in memory of their loving father who had passed away with Alzheimer’s disease, the tournament offers participants a fun day in the sun while navigating the challenging course. The day includes one round of golf with chances to win many prizes, dinner and silent auction. Proceeds from the event are used to support the programs and services at Alzheimer Society Peel. 

Need your coffee fix? Become a Coffee Break® Host! Coffee Break® is a province wide event to help raise funds towards programs and services provided to those suffering with Alzheimer’s disease. Coffee Breaks® can take place anywhere: retail stores, businesses, care facilities, schools, coffee shops, community centres, and people's homes. Hosts set up coffee stands where customers, co-workers, friends, family, and neighbours can make donations in exchange for a cup of coffee. Hosts receive coffee and cup cut-outs that donors can sign upon making a charitable donation to show others their support of Alzheimer Society Peel.

Bring in the spring with a smashing good time! The Alzheimer Society Peel presents the Annual Bowl-a-thon to help raise funds for the programs and services offered. It is a casual fun night consisting of pizza, pop, and bowling! Great relaxed environment for family bonding, team building or socializing.
