To alleviate the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, the Alzheimer Society Peel is now offering a support group for individuals who have lost a loved one to the disease. The new Bereavement Support Group allows caregivers to express, manage and accept the various emotions and feelings that coincide with the loss of a loved one.

One caregiver stated “I am not alone in feeling this very deep hurt…finally people who truly understand.”
