This group is just for people recently diagnosed with Alzheimer Disease or a related dementia.
Information is shared on what the individual may be experiencing and offers suggestions on how to cope with the changes.

"JUST FOR YOU" EARLY SUPPORT GROUPS
A supportive, educational, therapeutic program for those individuals who have been informed and are aware of their diagnosis of Alzheimer Disease or related dementias.
The purpose of the group is to maintain support and health of the Alzheimer individual by reducing physical and mental stress.
The groups provide experienced, empathetic facilitators; educational videos on topics relating to the disease, followed with a group discussion.
"JUST FOR YOU" EARLY SUPPORT GROUP also provides the newly diagnosed person with an opportunity to vent, share coping strategies with others who have also been diagnosed with Alzheimer Disease or related dementia.
