Hello my name is Danielle Farrell and I am the Outreach Counsellor at the Meadowvale Office, serving the Mississauga North area.  

I have been with the Alzheimer Society Peel for the past eight years, and have worked in the gerontological field for the past ten years.  For my first seven years in the field I worked hands on with inidivuals with dementia, and for the last three and half years I have supported family caregivers as an Outreach Counsellor. My educational background is in pyschology, gerontology, and social work.  

The dementia journey is long and often difficult, for this reason the Alzheimer Society offers a variety of counselling sevices: One to one in home or office visits, telephone and e-mail support, support groups, and resource information.
